Dashboard Overview

Upon successfully logging into the Invoice Application, you will land on the Dashboard. This central hub provides you with a quick and comprehensive overview of your business’s current status and performance. The dashboard is designed to present key information in an easily understandable format, allowing you to make informed decisions at a glance.

Here’s a breakdown of the different sections and elements you’ll find on the dashboard:

Top Metrics Cards:

At the top of the dashboard, you will find several cards displaying key performance indicators (KPIs) for your business. These cards provide a numerical summary of different aspects of your operations:

  • Invoice Quantity: This card shows the total number of invoices you have created within the application. This gives you an immediate sense of your sales volume.
  • Inventory Quantity: This represents the total number of inventory items currently in stock across all your products and batches. It helps you understand your overall stock levels.
  • Product Quantity: This card displays the total number of unique products you have created and are managing within the application.
  • Customers Quantity: This indicates the total number of customers you have added to your customer database.
  • Brands Quantity: This shows the total number of brands you have created to categorize your products.
  • Category Quantity: This card displays the total number of product categories you have established.

These metrics are dynamically updated based on your activity within the application, giving you real-time insights into your business.

Profit Graph:

Below the top metrics cards, you will find a visual representation of your business’s profit over a certain period (e.g., the last month, the current month). This graph typically displays:

  • X-axis: Represents the time period (e.g., days or weeks).
  • Y-axis: Represents the profit amount.

The graph allows you to easily track your profit trends, identify peak performance periods, and understand the overall financial health of your business. The specific time period displayed on the graph might be configurable in the application settings.

Inventory and Products Summary:

Further down the dashboard, you will likely find sections providing a more detailed look at your inventory and products. These sections might include:

  • Low Stock Inventory: A list of products that are running low on stock. This helps you identify items that need to be reordered to avoid stockouts. The threshold for what constitutes “low stock” might be configurable within the application.
  • Recently Added Products: A list of the most recently added products to your catalog. This keeps you informed about your latest product offerings.
  • Other Potential Summaries: Depending on future updates, this area might also include information like best-selling products, products nearing their expiry dates, or other relevant insights related to your inventory and product catalog.

The Dashboard is your starting point each time you log in. It provides a snapshot of your business’s key information, allowing you to quickly assess your current situation and navigate to the specific sections of the application you need to manage your operations effectively. Regularly reviewing your dashboard will help you stay on top of your sales, inventory, and overall business performance.
