Payment Modes (Future)
Currently, the Invoice Application supports marking invoices as either PAID or UNPAID. We are actively working on expanding the payment options to provide you with more flexibility and convenience in managing your transactions.
In future updates, you can expect the following additional payment modes to be integrated into the application:
- Card Payments: This will allow you to record payments made via credit or debit cards. You might see options to integrate with popular payment gateways to process card transactions seamlessly.
- Cash Payments: This option will specifically allow you to mark invoices as paid with cash.
- UPI (Unified Payments Interface): For users in India, UPI payment integration will be added, enabling you to record payments made through various UPI platforms.
We understand the importance of offering diverse payment options to your customers, and we are committed to bringing these features to you as soon as possible. Keep an eye on our release notes and application updates for announcements regarding the availability of these new payment modes.
In the meantime, you can continue to use the PAID/UNPAID status to track the general payment status of your invoices. Once the new payment methods are integrated, you will be able to select them during invoice creation to provide a more detailed record of how your customers are paying. We believe these upcoming additions will significantly enhance the functionality and usability of the Invoice Application.
